The Livermore-Pleasanton Firefighters Foundation Memorial Scholarship provides educational opportunities to children of current and former members of the LPFD. This includes current Explorers/Reserves of the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department and students at Las Positas College enrolled in Fire Science or EMS courses.
This scholarship is dedicated to the memory of Firefighters in the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department that sacrificed their health and well-being to serve the communities. These members include Paul Chenkovich, Josh Gatkin, Dennis Lawrence, Bill Halvorson, and so many others. It is in their memory, we remain dedicated to the training and education of those in pursuit of a career in the fire service.
