THE PAUL G. CHENKOVICH MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Paul G. Chenkovich Memorial Scholarship provides educational opportunities to children of current and former members of the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department. Captain Chenkovich was a dedicated firefighter for over 23 years who died in 2013 from job-related cancer. His legacy lives in every life he touched and in his selfless service to others. In his memory, the scholarship will assist others to achieve their goals in becoming a firefighter or EMT.

The scholarship fund was created by family and fellow firefighters to continue Captain Chenkovich’s commitment and dedication to helping others through education. Candidates seeking a Paul G. Chenkovich Memorial Scholarship must complete an application and forward it to the Livermore-Pleasanton Firefighter Foundation by June 1st.
